Donating to the Lindsay Art Gallery

Please choose a method of payment:

As the only public art gallery in the City of Kawartha Lakes, by virtue of its provincial designation and
Permanent Art Collection, The Lindsay Gallery relies on the generosity of the community to help support our commitment to the arts. The Lindsay Gallery is a not for profit organization AND a registered charity. We provide a venue to foster the artistic interests of all citizens through art exhibits, art classes, lectures, children's art camps and school tours.

The Gallery’s major source of revenue is achieved through volunteer fundraising activities and the kind and generous support of community donors and sponsors. The balance of our revenue comes from membership fees and commissions from the sale of art from Gallery and Showcase exhibits.

The Lindsay Gallery receives no financial support for operating expenses from any level of government. It
is a major challenge each year to raise the money required to carry out the mandate as a public gallery.
Donations and sponsorships ensure the Gallery remains open to the over 6000 annual visitors.
