Kim Misasi
After a life altering experience, Crystals were brought into Kim's life as part of healing. She has grown to appreciate the healing qualities within the power of Crystal energies.
The Ancients have used Crystals for physical healing and emotional direction to help the soul grow, for many centuries.
She found herself drawn to the beauty and peace of wearing Crystals daily. Unable to find what she was seeking, she was lead to create these touchstones.

Carol Jones
Carol has been painting wildlife for a number of years, but only quite recently started using feathers as her canvas. The feathers used are mainly wild turkey tail feathers that she collects from the woods on her friend's property. Susan Staniforth - "Gourdgeous"
This showcase by Fenelon Falls artist/artisan Susan Staniforth features functional, decorative and mixed media works created using a wide variety of hardshell gourds. Most of these beautiful pieces originated from gourds lovingly grown and cured by the artist herself. Gourds were the first plants species domesticated by humans, and were used to create vessels and containers over 10,000 years ago – long before clay or stone pottery were invented. Visit this showcase to see how gourds continue to fascinate and inspire today! |

ABOUT THE SHOWCASE
These exhibitions will run so that each exhibitor has the space for approximately four weeks with the benefit of the main exhibit's opening to expose their work to a wider audience. This is more exciting for gallery visitors because you get two shows every month. It is also a way for the gallery to give local artists another venue to show their work.
